Meet Dr. Salvatore F. Vinci

Salvatore F. Vinci, D.M.D. is an endodontist at our offices in Norwood, Dedham and Franklin, MA. Dr. Vinci was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended the local schools and graduated from Boston Latin School in 1968. He received his undergraduate education at Boston University, graduating in 1972. He continued on to the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his DMD in 1975.

Following dental school, Dr. Vinci completed a General Practice Residency at the West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital with an affiliation with Harvard University. After completion of this year long residency, he attended Boston University Graduate School of Dentistry to earn his Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics in 1978.

Dr. Vinci is an active, board eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists and a member of the American Dental Association. Locally, he is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the Metropolitan District Dental Association. He is also a member and Past President of both the Parkway and Norfolk Dental Study Groups.

From 1978 through 1996, Dr. Vinci served as an endodontic consultant to the West Roxbury Veterans Administration Medical Center. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Massasoit Community College Dental Assisting Program from 1976 to present.

Dr. Vinci is married with two adult sons. His outside interests include traveling, fishing and spending time with his family both here and in Italy.
